Please read the agreement below, then type your legal name and submit. This sends your booking request and a signed PDF to Farm Adventures. Payment and signed paperwork are due the day of the event unless we arrange otherwise.

Farm Adventures — Event Service Agreement & Acknowledgment

  1. 1. Parties & booking

    This agreement is between Farm Adventures (“we,” “us,” “our”) and the adult client named in the signature section below (“you,” “Client”), who books a mobile petting zoo visit for an event. By signing, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and authorized to book for the event location and guests.

  2. 2. Services

    We provide a supervised mobile petting zoo visit at the address and time confirmed for your booking. Standard packages and add-ons (themed party, pony rides with an 80 lb weight limit, Personalized Gram, and similar) are described on our Pricing page and in your written quote. Availability of specific animals (including baby goats) may vary.

    All petting zoo bookings have a 2-hour minimum. Extra time, when available, is billed at the rate shown on Pricing (currently $100 per hour after the first two hours) unless your quote states otherwise.

  3. 3. Fees & payment

    • Standard 2-hour petting zoo package: $450 (or your written quote).
    • A $50 deposit secures your date and is non-refundable.
    • The balance is due the day of the event unless prepaid or agreed in writing.
    • Cash, checks, and cards accepted. Card payments include a 3% fee.
    • Travel beyond 40 miles from Harmony, NC is $1.25 per mile unless your quote states otherwise.
    • Events with 50 or more attendees require a personalized quote.

  4. 4. Weather, rescheduling & cancellation

    Farm Adventures has the right to ask to reschedule due to extreme heat, extreme cold, or unsafe road conditions. The non-refundable deposit continues to hold your booking toward a rescheduled date when our calendar allows.

    If you cancel or change the date for any other reason, contact us ASAP. The $50 deposit remains non-refundable.

  5. 5. Your responsibilities

    • Provide about a 20 × 30 foot setup area and clear vehicle access.
    • All children must be accompanied by an adult during the visit.
    • Follow safety instructions; move calmly; use hand sanitizer when appropriate.
    • Closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothes recommended.
    • You are responsible for guest conduct.

  6. 6. Unsafe conditions — right to leave

    Farm Adventures may leave any event that is unsafe for animals or staff, without a refund.

  7. 7. Safety, insurance & agritourism acknowledgment

    We are licensed and insured. By signing, you accept inherent agritourism risks consistent with North Carolina law (see ). This does not waive liability for reckless or intentional misconduct.

  8. 8. Photos & publicity (optional)

    You may grant or decline photo/video permission below. Declining does not affect your booking.

  9. 9. Entire agreement

    This agreement plus your confirmed quote is the complete agreement. North Carolina law governs.

Agritourism & your visit

Outdoor farm experiences are joyful and supervised, and they are a bit different from playgrounds or indoor venues: natural ground underfoot and animals that are cared for—but still living creatures with their own instincts.

In plain terms: North Carolina agritourism law acknowledges that farm activities come with predictable, everyday uncertainties—things like uneven paths, ordinary equipment used alongside animals, and the small chance someone could stumble or move quickly in ways an animal finds surprising. Those are often described as inherent risks of agritourism. The law can limit liability for injury or harm that arises from those kinds of realities when you participate in agritourism at this location—not from every imaginable situation.

Visiting safely still means listening to our team, supervising children closely, and moving calmly around animals. We're insured and prepared—and when you join us for these activities you're confirming you understand the farm setting and are accepting inherent agritourism risks, consistent with North Carolina agritourism law. Ask us anytime if something is unclear; we would rather talk it through upfront.
