Feeling grateful for the most rewarding job!

Every day is a new adventure filled with heartwarming moments that remind me why I love what I do. Watching infants experience the joy of touching a pig for the first time is pure magic! 🐷

And who can resist the sight of teenagers putting their phones away 📲 just to cuddle with our adorable goats? 🐐 It’s amazing how a little animal love can bring people together.

Listening to elders share their farm stories is like hearing a treasure trove of wisdom and laughter.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of my work is helping those in recovery. Whether it’s from drug and alcohol struggles or just needing support, I see firsthand how transformative this environment can be. When Cowboy nudges someone for a cuddle, or when folks find solace in petting a bunny, smiles light up the room, and worries fade away. 🐇

And let’s not forget the joy of celebrating birthdays! 🎉 There’s nothing quite like seeing someone’s face light up as they blow out candles surrounded by friends and furry companions.

Every day, I’m reminded of the incredible power of connection and compassion. Here’s to more moments of joy and healing!

Love love love the farm adventures!! They’ve done two events for us so far, another on Monday and already looking to book again in the fall! Amazing people! Very clean! Agritourism & your visit

Outdoor farm experiences are joyful and supervised, and they are a bit different from playgrounds or indoor venues: natural ground underfoot and animals that are cared for—but still living creatures with their own instincts.

In plain terms: North Carolina agritourism law acknowledges that farm activities come with predictable, everyday uncertainties—things like uneven paths, ordinary equipment used alongside animals, and the small chance someone could stumble or move quickly in ways an animal finds surprising. Those are often described as inherent risks of agritourism. The law can limit liability for injury or harm that arises from those kinds of realities when you participate in agritourism at this location—not from every imaginable situation.

Visiting safely still means listening to our team, supervising children closely, and moving calmly around animals. We're insured and prepared—and when you join us for these activities you're confirming you understand the farm setting and are accepting inherent agritourism risks, consistent with North Carolina agritourism law. Ask us anytime if something is unclear; we would rather talk it through upfront.
